Spirit Week October 30th-November 3rd
Monday October 30-Armed Forces Day-No toys, fake military items, etc. Wear your Army or Navy gear.
Tuesday October 31-Halloween Costume Day. Students may bring or wear a school appropriate costume to school. Toys, masks, accessories are not allowed.
Wednesday November 1-Pajama Day. School Appropriate Pajamas allowed.
Thursday November 2-Hero Day. Dress like your Hero
Friday November 3--Patriotic Day. Red, White and Blue. Old Glory!!!!
Tomorrow is Movie Night-6:30pm in the Gym. Snacks to buy, proceeds go to the PTO.
Monday is the Pumpkin Show. Tuesday is the Fall Fest.
Look for information sent home with the students. It is going to be a lot of fun. Come out, bring the family have a blast!

Congratulations to Woodlan Elementary for receiving the Purple Star school designation by the The Indiana Department of Education The designation, which is valid for three years, is awarded to schools for their commitment to current and retired military service members.
To earn the designation, the IDOE says schools must meet certain criteria, such as a designated staff member who serves as the liaison for service members, veterans, students and families. Other factors include employment of military service members and a dedicated webpage providing recognition and resources.
